Photography Salon with Music Photographer Brian Diescher comes to Brookline Arts Center on July 21

Join photographer Brian Diescher at the Brookline Arts Center on Friday, July 21, 2006 at 6:30 PM. The salon is free, and open to the public.

The salon is part of a continuing series of casual discussion salons for photographers at the Brookline Arts Center. The Salon is open to professionals, amateurs, and any one interested in photography. Photographers are encouraged to bring their work for discussion.

Brian Diescher has combined his love of music and his skills at photography in his body of work, which specializes in the photography of musical performances. He has photographed Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, U2, the Beastie Boys, the White Stripes, and many more. Examples of his work can be seen on his website at www.bdphoto.net.

Diescher has trained with "Life" photographer Harold Feinstein and at the New England School of Photography. During this salon, he will discuss how to set up shoots at performances, how to work with film and how to finish photos once they are shot. He will then lead discussion of work brought by salon participants.
